NOFAP – SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE THAT IT WORKS

Custom Keto Diet

There is a ton of skepticism around Nofap, which is an anti-pornography program. However, there is a ton of science pointing towards the fact that the members of Nofap might actually be onto something.

Pornography taps deep into your reward circuit and makes lasting changes on your dopamine – the neurotransmitter behind motivation. It's here where the root of all the problems stem.

  1. To be fair, forcing yourself to stop the masturbating addiction is probably one of the hardest thing to do in the first place. So if you are able to achieve that, you were already more motivated than most of other people in the first place

  2. I quit porn two years ago, I have felt my mind much clearer than before, and now I use my dopamine and motivation to learn languages instead 🙂

  3. You know what? I accidentally clicked on this video and thought that it seemed stupid, but I watched and you have provided very informative facts and I have decided to also partake in the NoFap challenge 👍🏾

  4. I’m on 35 days in Semen retention, and I tell you I’ve gained so much from it! I feel amazing & im going to continue this !

  5. Try this:
    NoFap
    No social media
    reading a book
    working out and jogging
    be more active in nature
    quit junk food
    Sleep before 1am
    for a week

    Edit (2022):
    Try this for a month
    No fap
-You can use social media only for 30 minutes per day (including YouTube)
    -read 20-25 pages per day.
    – workout 5 times per week.
-walk in the nature atleast once a week.
-plan and prepare your meal for the day. (No junk food allowed)
-Wake up everyday at 7am or earlier.
    -sleep before 12.

    1. they would be a quitting symptom which would be hard to deal with. what’s your recommendation for that?

  6. quitting porn is one of the hardest things I’ve done. 20 days in, pray for me kings

Update. I am happily in a relationship, the days of my addiction are behind me. Thank you all for your support

    1. @Scott ClarkeI’m on day 3, and I thinking about doing it, but I know that it’s very bad for me if I do it. I don’t want to, but it’s like my brain won’t let me not do it.

  7. Ive been going at nofap for over a year strong!!!!

Stay strong my fellow legends!!! Don’t give in to pornography!!!!!

  8. “It is the nature of the wise to resist pleasures, but the foolish to be a slave to them.”
    -Epictetus

    1. Tomislav Antic I indeed do not know them, because I’ve never searched them up. But Socrates is someone that a lot of people know. So when you tell me I don’t know any real philosophers while knowing that I know Socrates is like saying he’s fake

    2. Tomislav Antic Even tho I’m Greek I dont know many philosophers. I guess you’re right I misunderstood you

  9. Even at 39 NoFap was the best decision I ever made. Because I’m older it took longer to feel the positive effects but was totally worth.
I actually started my own business.

    1. @soul2soul There isn’t necessarily anything wrong with marriage. It’s just that realistically, there is a risk when doing it, and even without that.
Him starting a business and not being married would allocate more time to the business.

    2. Actually it typically goes the other way. Younger people take longer to see the benefits, unless they just started

    3. I’m 39. Wish I knew how insidious porn was in my teens and 20s… lost those years to Cumbrain mode

  10. I watched a lot of porn as a teen and when I turned 21 I felt the need to stop. It wasn’t easy to detach from but I most definitely increased in areas I never thought I would. I found a passion for things I never knew existed. All I needed to know was that it was more pros to quitting than the cons of staying there
I was willing to push myself to leave that place in my head. I never wanna go back

    1. Trust me a lot of things that guys are feeling is due to poor diet and lack of exercise. Also not taking necessary vitamins such as vitamin D. You will feel motivated the more you exercise, the more weight you lose, the healthier your life will become. Physically, mentally and emotionally. Trust me, pmo doesn’t really have anything to do with that.

    2. @SOT Josiah Completely agree if you go an excessive amount of time without ejaculating it raises your chances of a relapse. If you needa do it find a girl to do it for you

    3. @Emre but the thing is that woman is real…. unlike pixels on a screen that girl is a real human

    4. @Crubrutock Csgo In the end, it’s all about ejaculation. Your body doesn’t know whether it’s a real woman, a pixel, or masturbating without watching porn.

  11. Improvement pill I just want to say this video saved my life. 4 years ago I was addicted to PMO. This was the first nofap video I ever watched and through trial and error I got on no fap. I am no longer addicted and have been going on for over 10 months. You saved my life. Thank you 🙏

  12. I feel a bit more enlightened now. Thank you!

This might’ve definitely played a part in my decrease of motivation and unproductive behavior these past few days, but I’m glad this is a sign I’m motivated to change for the better

  13. 6 months into nofap. This is crazy. More motivated than ever, a lot of energy, my social skills are way better, no anxiety anymore, little things get excited. Porn is one hell of a drug.

    1. @PenisFlyTrap no fap means no masterbation and semen retention means keeping your sperms to itself. Either way both of them tells u to stop masterbation and porn completely. Semen retention is monk mode and it’s for hyper focus mostly if u want to fully committ to ur goals by giving up sex as long as u need.
No fap means no porn and masterbation but it’s allowed the ejaculate into a woman. No fap means sex and sex only that totally removes porn and masterbation from the equation.

    2. @PenisFlyTrap it’s the dopamine receptors in your brain + the semen retention. sex and porn will give you the same dopamine amount most likely so you’ll feel the same after since when you finish the dopamine instantly goes rock bottom and you feel unmotivated and depressed. also 20-25 days is not enough to get the full benefits the best benefits start at around day 200 and so on but you shouldn’t really be counting days once you’re there.

  14. 7 months into NoFap and the results are significantly beneficial without a doubt, my social skills developed, became less self-conscious/anxious, motivation drive sky-rocketed and my overall happiness increased by an absolute heap. It was 4-5 months in however where I started to slowly stop seeing results, hence why I am thinking about ending my streak due to their being no more self benefits from it. NoFap does work wonders though and it has changed my life for sure 🙂

    1. Instead of there not being benefits I think maybe your baseline has changed. It’s easy to notice going from very low to very high. But if you’re already at an 8, being at a 10 won’t have that much affect. Does that make sense?

  15. Matthew Gonzalez

I was 3 months strong with no pornography, mainly because I was in a talking stage with a girl, but she ended up not wanting to go any further, so the following day I had broke my streak, but now I plan to stop again. This time it’ll be for myself and well-being. Prioritize yourself my kings 👑

    1. she did not only waste your time but her own as well. 3 months holy hell, thats like buying a new shirt then bringing it back after 3 months of use. Don’t let these ppl treat you like a rental and the next girl you come across don’t have any expectations of her being your gf. That’s a setup for failure. Treat her like a friend not a fan and see what happens bc girls like a guy that doesnt care/treats her regular but let her know that you diggin her a lil. I know it’s messed up and the game is rigged but that’s just how it is.

      Best Wishes brother.

    2. @unknownit’s like you’re hooked again. The new dopamine stimulation after long time of not watching it will probably be overwhelming for the reward circuit, its exactly like you first started watching porn and the way you got hooked to it. It happens all over again…
